ReadyNAS OS V6.5.2 Release Notes:

RN102 & RN104 systems running firmware older than 6.2.1 should first update to  6.2.5 , then update from 6.2.5 to 6.5.2.  

RN2120 systems running firmware older than 6.2.1 should first update to  6.2.4 , then update from 6.2.4 to 6.5.2.  

All other systems can update directly to 6.5.2.

Bug Fixes:

  1. Fixed large file uploads to DropBox.
  2. Added option to format external storage devices with BTRFS. 
  3. Improved ReadyCLOUD client connection stability. 
  4. Fixed kernel race condition that could lead to crashes, and a "mv_xor_status+88" message on LCD. (RN104) .
  5. Various security fixes (including CVE-2016-5387/httpoxy, CVE-2016-2119). 
  6. Fixed an issue where ReadyCLOUD downloads may fail immediately after updating. 
  7. Fixed a bug in the Kerberos library that could cause Active Directory connections to hang. 
  8. Changed SMB share access control to give rights assigned to individual users higher priority than group rights. 
  9. Fixed a SMB issue where Windows may report an "Element not found" error when browsing to the NAS where the passwords on the Windows account and the NAS account did not match. 
  10. Fixed home folder snapshots.
  11. Added better support for the newer rackmount products (RR4312 & RR3312)
